The Art You Missed entices the public to re-examine the art of the 1980s

Our Art You Missed series, created for MOCA’s “ReFocus: The Art of the 80s” exhibition, was inspired by the stark, copy-driven consumer print ads of that colorful decade. We took adages and catchphrases from the 80s and added brushstrokes of historical context and hindsight to create an enticing incentive for the public to re-examine art and an entire era.
