HHS: Ending the HIV Epidemic
Forward-thinking identity creates momentum for EHE’s data visualization dashboard.

Designed to track progress towards their goal of reducing new HIV transmissions by 75% by 2025 and 90% by 2030, Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America’s AHEAD dashboard provides a real-time view into local, state, and national efforts. Brunet-García developed the name, identity, and support materials for this vital component of EHE’s whole-of society initiative.

The acronym AHEAD stands for "America’s HIV Epidemic Analysis Dashboard," implying progress and optimism. Composed of line segments derived from the EHE logo, the arrow in the dashboard’s primary mark, further communicates a sense of forward momentum.

Clear, bold icons communicate the dashboard’s six indicators at a glance. We created a cohesive visual language that translates the complexity of the program’s individual dimensions into easy-to-understand elements that build upon its established look and feel.

Keeping the momentum going.

To help users better understand how to use and interpret the dashboard, we created a suite of support materials, including an animated explainer video, that guide stakeholders and other interested parties through each indicator and how they relate to EHE’s efforts to diagnose, treat, prevent, and respond to the HIV epidemic.
