Bootleggers’ Ball poster mines Dadaist art to build buzz

Combining libation with preservation, the Bootleggers’ Ball is a 1920s-themed party that is one of the highlights of the Riverside Avondale Preservation Society’s calendar season. Brunet-García tapped into the Dadaist art movement of the Prohibition era to create a poster series that brought to life the history and cultural vibrancy of one of Jacksonville’s most celebrated historical neighborhoods, and brought buzz to one of the year’s biggest parties.
