On the eve of Brunet-Garcia’s 20th anniversary year, founders Diane and Jorge Brunet-García have identified the agency’s next generation of leaders. They haven’t had to look far, as new senior leadership and leadership teams have been filled entirely from within the agency’s talent pool. The move allows Diane and Jorge to transition to Board co-chairs as they hand the daily management reins to a senior leadership team supported by two new leadership levels within the agency, offering more mentorship and development opportunities throughout B|G.
The senior leadership team includes Kimberley Collins, transitioning to Chief Executive Officer; Kim Vermillion, transitioning to Chief Operating Officer; and Eduardo Sarmiento, transitioning to Chief Creative Officer. Together, this senior leadership team will advance growth objectives and oversee the implementation of the agency’s strategic plan.

“The senior leadership team of Kim, Kim, and Eduardo have been involved in all operational and strategic decisions for the past four years, so the most seamless way to move the agency forward is to increase the involvement of this core team,” says Jorge Brunet-García. “This new leadership structure leaves our clients in highly capable hands and positions the agency well for the future.”
Representing the next generation of B|G leaders, the new leadership team includes: Aerien Mull as SVP, Creative; Kate Jolley as VP, Creative Operations; Anna Jaffee as VP, Accounts; LeShaundra Cordier as VP, Communication Strategy; and Iwalani Camacho as SVP, Media.

“It has been incredible to plan and create with B|G from its beginnings and to ride the waves of exponential growth over the last few years,” says Kim Vermillion. “Seeing now how much has been attained over the last 19 years, we’re challenging ourselves and the B|G team to reach for that next big opportunity for impact beyond growth for growth’s sake.”
Established in Jacksonville in 2003 and quickly expanding to Atlanta and Washington, D.C., B|G is a fast-growing, minority-owned agency specializing in effective social impact programs for government agencies, nonprofits, foundations, and brands.
“Jorge and Diane have built a successful agency with a positive culture–a great place to work with a diverse staff working on worthy causes for important clients,” says Kimberley Collins. “This new management structure allows us to complement each other’s strengths and to collaborate with leaders across the agency to provide the best client service, internal mentorship, and grow the business while maintaining the inspiring agency culture that is so unique to B|G.”
The 55-person agency is excited for the future with these new structural changes, focusing on effective strategic and creative solutions—a key to the agency’s success.
“We exist to inspire meaningful change, and that results from providing an environment that fosters creativity and collaboration to create great work for a greater good,” says Eduardo Sarmiento.
