Brunet-García names Molly Walker as agency partner

Home > Blog > Brunet-García names Molly Walker as agency partner

June 15, 2016  |  By Diane Brunet-García

Jorge and Diane Brunet-García,  majority shareholders of the privately held communications company Brunet-García, today announced that Molly Walker has become a minority partner in the agency.

Walker, currently the firm’s vice president and chief strategist, joined the firm in 2011 after serving in both marketing and creative management positions for The St. Joe Company and FIS.

“Molly is a respected and motivational mentor to our entire team,” said CEO Jorge Brunet-García. “The confidence and trust she engenders with our staff, our collaborative partners and our clients helped create a solid foundation for success, allowing us to execute on key strategies as we expand our business model from Florida throughout the southeast and onto the national stage.”

Walker, a graduate of Flagler College, will continue to supervise strategic planning for the agency, as well as new business development and account management. She also serves as the contract lead on the $100 million Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) opportunity the firm was awarded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in late 2015.

“We were delighted to win the first task order the CDC issued under the new health communications BPA, during Q1, 2016,” Walker said. “The 10-year BPA contract opportunity has already expanded the agency’s engagement with key public health customers and paved the way to deeper collaboration with our national partners, Sapient, Golin, Altarum Institute, Mediassociates, PlowShare, and TCG Consulting. I’m thrilled to be a part of this interesting and life-changing work.”

“Molly has helped plan and guide our success with CDC and other clients, leveraging the contributions of our entire team of communications experts. Jorge and I both look forward to our continued collaboration with Molly as we shepherd the agency through strategic growth in the health, transportation, education, cultural and non-profit sectors,” said Diane Brunet-García, agency co-founder and shareholder.
