This year has been one of growth and expansion for Brunet-García.
Since January, the agency has added several new clients and nine new employees. The latest round of talented professionals started work in recent weeks across creative, account service, media planning, and social media.
Based on the agency’s growth last year, the Jacksonville Business Journal named Brunet-García one of the area’s fastest-growing companies of 2018.

Founded in 2003, the agency is focused on several areas of social impact, including health, safety, education, the arts, and environmental sustainability. Fifteen years later, Brunet-García has grown from two to 35 employees, and is a Small Business Association 8(a)-certified minority-owned business, as well as an approved contractor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Brunet-García has built strong, ongoing working relationships with an extensive list of federal and state government agencies on top of a wide array of private sector and nonprofit clients.
As part of the agency’s continued growth, we are proud to announce the latest additions to our team. These experts have hit the ground running to provide the best ideas, strategy, and content to our clients.

Art director

At Brunet-García … my favorite part of the work I get to do is being a visual storyteller. It’s exciting to help clients find their voices and communicate them in a unique visual way.
Before this job … I lived in St. Augustine while I went to Flagler College for graphic design. I have been working in Jacksonville for about seven years. I interned with Brunet-García my first summer out of college. Since then, I worked for some small agencies and start-up agencies, but I always hoped my path would align with B|G again. And voila!
I look forward to … the concepting and brainstorming phase of a project. Bouncing thoughts off other people can spark new ideas or help strengthen others. It’s also the most fun part!
I love … photography, especially when it is mixed with traveling or going somewhere new.
You might not know … woodworking is a bit of a shared family hobby. I mostly create hand-cut wooden typography and words. I also make furniture, cutting boards, frames, and lamps.
Samantha Collins
Junior account coordinator
At Brunet-García … I work with the account executive team to ensure our client and internal expectations and needs are met.
Before this job … I was a hospitality professional, working in the local service industry for 15 years—Mossfire Grill for 13 of those. I am a Jacksonville native and recently completed my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
I look forward to … working with nonprofit organizations making an impact in the community.
I love to … go to museums by myself, camp, read, search for treasures at thrift stores, and make people laugh. My next trip is to see Yayoi Kusama’s “LOVE IS CALLING Infinity Room” at the Tampa Museum of Art.
You might not know … I have seen all 434 episodes of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” That is almost 13 days with Detective Olivia Benson. I don’t regret a single moment.
Zach Hendrix
Media buyer/campaign manager
At Brunet-García … I work with all paid media clients. I will be working on each media project from conception to completion.
Before this job … I have worked on the media planning/buying side and the media sales side. I am from Charlottesville, Virginia, attended the University of Mary Washington, and have lived in D.C. for four years.
I look forward to … getting to know the entire B|G team, experiencing the culture, and working collaboratively with everyone!
I love to … spend time with my newborn son, play/watch sports (my teams are the Washington Nationals, Washington Capitals, and the University of Virginia), and explore new places.
You might not know … I played baseball in college, studied abroad in Spain, and explored Germany solo when I was in Stuttgart for work.
Sarah Palm
Senior account executive
At Brunet-García … I work through organized chaos as an account executive.
Before this job … I ventured from Ohio to Washington, D.C., where I have found a love for the city, the Nationals, and all things account-management related.
I look forward to … working with exciting clients and collaborating on groundbreaking creative.
I love to … kayak, hike, cycle, visit local wineries, and travel with friends.
You might not know … I have climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge twice.
Melissa Pierce
Art director
At Brunet-García … alongside the creative team here, I concept ideas and execute design work for the various clients we work with.
Before this job … I was part of the packaging development team at Bacardí where I laid out artwork for all things packaging-related (bottle labels, gift boxes, promotional tags, etc.) under Bacardi and the brands it owns—such as Grey Goose, Martini & Rossi, and many more.
I look forward to … coming to an agency from a spirits company—it was a definite shift for me. In the last month, I have learned a lot about how an agency operates. I still look forward to learning more about the culture here, while creating and expanding the brands we work with.
I love to … discover new music, travel to new places, paper-craft, and doodle when I can find the time.
You might not know … I love playing video games. I was raised as a Nintendo kid with “Legend of Zelda,” “Animal Crossing,” and various “Mario Bros.” games. I ended up never growing out of this phase.
Ryan Sanecki
Social media manager
At Brunet-García … I have the privilege of helping share how our diverse portfolio is full of makers of meaning.
Before this job … I helped Marriott International continue to share stories that show how today’s travelers are seeing the most beautiful destinations on earth.
I look forward to … learning how to innovate within our agency of pranksters. (Jorge had better keep an eye on his stapler.)
I love to … read GQ, explore local restaurants in search of the best taco in Florida, and hang with my pals Mickey and Donald at Disney World.
You might not know … I’ve climbed the tallest mountain in Montana and swum in the deepest body of water in Montana.
