Joining Brunet-García as the Director of Health Marketing Strategy is Everett Long, PhD. Dr. Long will oversee B|G’s marketing strategies within the public health sector, working out of our office in Atlanta. Additionally, his experience in the HIV prevention and education discipline will add value to the team by supporting our growing body of work on this issue.

With more than 12 years of experience in public health, academia and communications strategies, Dr. Long most recently served as the Director of Health Strategy and Evaluation at DLH Corporation, a leading provider of health-technology solutions. He has also brought his specialties to the classroom as an Adjunct Professor at Colorado State University for nearly three years and previously at the University of Georgia for four years. Dr. Long has also worked with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) supporting communications during the Ebola response and other public health emergencies and the Million Hearts Campaign.

Dr. Long graduated from the University of Georgia with a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Promotion and Behavior and a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications. He also graduated from Wake Forest with a BA in Spanish. His background will support B|G’s roster of clients which includes various contracts with the CDC, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Florida Department of Health. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Long will also serve as an advisor with B|G’s bilingual and cultural campaigns across the agency.
