Diane Brunet-García

With over 20 years' experience in all facets of marketing, advertising and public relations, Diane has served clients in industries such as public health, healthcare, government, traffic safety, public transportation and tourism/hospitality.
As a multiple Gold "ADDY" winner for excellence in advertising and communication, Diane excels in developing targeted strategies to reach Hispanics and other diverse populations, creating strategic marketing programs with cut-through brand positioning.
Prior to helping form Brunet-García, Diane held management positions for both advertising agencies and corporations and served as an independent communications consultant. Former clients include Coca-Cola, The Weather Channel, The Network of City Business Journals, Sprint, Time Warner Cable, Dave & Buster's, The Golf Channel and Walt Disney World Resorts.
Jorge Brunet-García
President/CEO, Partner
A native of Havana, Cuba, Jorge immigrated with his family to the United States in 1960. He has created forward-thinking print and broadcast campaigns in multiple languages for over 30 years.
Jorge has a broad understanding of the Latino culture, along with a strategic mind, an eye for impeccable, culturally relevant design and the conceptual spark for the precise delivery method of the client's message. This has enabled him to guide art directors, copywriters and graphic designers—in agencies throughout the Southeast—to develop national, award-winning campaigns.
A member of the New York Art Director's Club, the American Advertising Federation and the Graphic Artists Guild, Jorge was a founding member of the Creative Club of Atlanta and the Creative Club of Tampa Bay.
Tim Kinney
Vice President
With over 18 years' progressive experience, Tim brings an extraordinary depth of expertise to Brunet-García in leading change, strategic planning, marketing and business development. Tim is a long-established expert in diverse, complex, highly-regulated global industries as well as turnaround initiatives, multimillion-dollar business development and brand management.
Prior to joining Brunet-García, Tim managed marketing and communication for Alcoa Howmet Castings, a $1.2 billion aerospace and defense component supplier. Among his many achievements, Tim helped a $275-million manufacturing client generate double-digit top- and bottom-line growth in two years using a proprietary strategic planning process, as well as spearheaded internal and external communication of a $158-million acquisition for a $1.4-billion client. Tim has also guided clients through five new-venture launches, securing over $4 million in capital.
Jenny Bello
Traffic/Production Director
Jenny skillfully juggles diverse jobs for multiple clients, including print production and media buying for Florida SHOTS, and production for the Florida Department of Transportation, Vistakon, First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and others. She has also managed accounts for nonprofit clients such as Community Hospice's Halloween Doors and More and the Children's Miracle Network.
Inside the agency, Jenny's energy and enthusiasm fuel her multitasking ability as she manages traffic and day-to-day production issues, leveraging vendor relationships to stretch client budgets.
Aerien Kloske
Senior Art Director/Studio Manager
With experience that spans both the client-side and agency-side of advertising, and a background in marketing, Aerien has unique insight into the benefits and challenges of working with an agency. This perspective helps her develop and inform brands from both a strategic and creative angle to ensure an informed, cohesive design.
During her tenure at Brunet-García, Aerien has helped develop branding, advertising and collateral for a variety of clients, including Florida SHOTS and the Bureau of Immunization, the Florida Dept. of Transportation, Vistakon, Players by the Sea, the Jacksonville Public Library, Jacksonville Country Day School, Jacksonville Film Festival, Visit Jacksonville, Community Hospice and more.
Kedgar Volta
Art Director
Kedgar is a man of many talents, adept at creative disciplines spanning the gamut from graphic design to broadcast production and editing, animation and photography. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Kedgar immigrated to the United States in 2008. He graduated top of his class at Superior Design Institute (SDI) in Cuba, and his experiences as a first-generation Latino immigrant and Cuban native lend a unique perspective to his creative approach.
Kedgar's body of work includes the concept and production of the multi-channel campaign for the 280th anniversary of the University of Havana and web design for the Kewelta project, an online calendar of cultural events designed specifically for youth in Cuba. Kedgar has also taught editorial design and typography at the Superior Institute of Design, worked as an editorial designer for the Cuban Institute of Books and Dédalo, a magazine for art critics, and as a designer for Coral Negro commercial Cuban jewelry.
Cristina Parcell
Government Marketing Manager
Growing up as a globetrotter, Cristina is fluent in five languages. Born in Puerto Rico, she grew up in Africa and South America while her parents were members of the Peace Corps. This singular experience gives Cristina a special cultural insight and understanding of her work communicating with diverse audiences.
At Brunet-García, Cristina's responsibilities include relationship management with state and federal agencies, development and maintenance of GSA schedules, marketing development and RFP development. She works hand-in-hand with both state and federal procurement officers to implement government contracts.
Prior to her work at Brunet-García, Cristina managed, organized, and facilitated all aspects of national conferences for the Department of Transportation and the Centers for Disease Control.
Joash Brunet
Writer/Producer
With nearly 15 years of experience as a journalist and television producer, Joash honed his ability to understand and communicate with his audience, bringing insight and empathy to countless stories involving politics, criminal justice and social issues.
Joash capitalizes on his experiences as a journalist and executive producer to provide additional depth and vision to the digital and social media strategies and technologies at Brunet-García. A passionate storyteller, he lends his unique talents in the areas of script-writing, video production, web applications, advertising and training.
Prior to joining Brunet-García, Joash worked as a producer/executive producer for TV stations in the Carolinas, including: ABC-WPDE of Florence, South Carolina, and FOX-WGHP of High Point, North Carolina. He also worked as independent producer for America's Most Wanted. His responsibilities included scriptwriting and oversight of pre- and post-production.
Nikki Guillette
Finance & Operations Manager
Nikki specialized in Operations Management at the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business. After earning her Masters in International Business and traveling the world, Nikki worked in various fields including real estate, politics, accounting, and small business management.
As the finance and operations manager, Nikki not only keeps tabs on the purse strings, she offers cost management and stability to Brunet-García. Her superb organizational skills and team spirit unite the administrative functions with the rest of the BG crew. Her goal is to bridge the gap and bring further integration to the processes within the agency.
Kate Heller
PR & Social Media Coordinator
Kate joined Brunet-García as a PR writer, but her duties continue to evolve, encompassing new business research, social networking, marketing and more. Her experiences and youth bring refreshing insight to Brunet-Garcia's social media and communications strategies.
A Jacksonville native and graduate of the University of Florida's college of Journalism and Communications, Kate has spent stints working as a reporter for multiple local publications, including Jacksonville Magazine and the Jacksonville Business Journal. Using skills developed through her print-journalism background, Kate produces both PR and creative copywriting.
Vanessa K Harper
Account Executive
At her core, Vanessa is a producer who skillfully transforms vision into reality. She is intelligent, spirited and passionate, tackling each assignment with curiosity and efficiency. She has extensive experience in the arts, sciences and nonprofit management, and she has worked with, values and understands diverse cultures. Vanessa's accounts are equally as diverse as her background and include UCI International, Players by the Sea, Coastline Federal Credit Union, the University of Florida' s Department of Psychiatry and Jacksonville Country Day School.
Vanessa shares our team's passion for Cuba. She lived on the island and worked with rural, small farmers in the western mountains where she photo-documented and modeled their livelihoods while exploring their integration into the country's complex dual economy. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and holds an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Ecology from the University of Florida. She sits on the Board of the Jacksonville Film Festival and serves as a mentor for a student at Ribault High School through Take Stock in Children. She is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council of Northeast Florida and the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville, where she formerly worked as the Director of Education and Community Outreach.
Rebecca Schwam
PR Manager
Rebecca's creativity and ability to distinguish what makes an organization unique adds value to any project or story. Her skills have been vital to the creation and implementation of public relations and marketing solutions for government agencies, healthcare organizations and nonprofits. Rebecca's career has taken her from Capitol Hill to serving as a government relations officer for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, then to working for New England Medical Center/Tufts University and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her travels finally led her to BG, where her connections and talent make our work more effective.
Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her Master of Public Administration from Cleveland State University. She also completed an executive management program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Anna Jaffee
Account Coordinator
Anna originally joined Brunet-García as a PR intern during the 2010 summer after working in Governmental Relations as a student at Florida State University. Soon after her start, she became a Marketing Assistant, contributing work and ideas to both the PR and account team. She remained a part-time employee through her senior year at FSU and became an Account Coordinator after her graduation.
She assists the senior account staff with a variety of tasks, including various client communications, planning and executing advertising and PR plans, and delivering creative briefs and strategy to the creative team. She has had her hand in many projects and brings a fresh perspective to the table. Anna has a thorough understanding of each element of the marketing process. She continues to grow, taking an innovative and creative approach to finding solutions.
Andrea Kinney
Human Resources
After spending 19 years in the travel industry, Andrea became part of the BG team in the fall of 2010. She is responsible for needs assessment, recruiting and staffing, performance management, policy development and documentation, and employee relations. As a travel expert, Andrea is also the agency's travel planner.
Andrea's experience in employee management includes American Express, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Navigant International. Her marketing experience includes roles in the communications departments at WorkSource and Ethical Markets.
She is a member of Slow Foods International, Saveur Virtuoso Travel Advisory Board, Virtuoso, and the International Air Transport Association. A certified chef , Andrea cooks for fun and the perpetual enjoyment of family, friends, and – of course – co-workers. Her homemade ice cream sandwiches are an agency favorite!
Kevin Doyle
Government Affairs
Kevin skillfully navigates the halls of local, state and federal government as head of the government affairs practice for Brunet-García. Kevin's professional experience is unique in the field, having worked at all levels of national and international government and politics.
Most recently, as State Director for U.S. Senator Mel Martinez, Kevin served as the senior staffer in Florida, where he was responsible for advising the Senator on all state issues and policy initiatives. His responsibilities included acting as a liaison between federal agencies in Washington, D.C., and state government agencies and leaders in Tallahassee. Prior to working with Senator Martinez, Kevin worked for U.S. Senator Connie Mack, the Joint Economic Committee for the U.S. Congress, the White House, the U.S. Secretary of Labor, the Florida House of Representatives and on political campaigns in the U.S., England and New Zealand.
Molly Walker
Digital Project Manager
With 19 years of experience in marketing strategy, interactive, print design and creative direction, Molly is quite an asset to our team. A veteran in the industry, her background merges expert knowledge in both the creative and digital fields.
Molly has worked as a designer and art director for many other design firms as well as in marketing and creative management positions for The St. Joe Company and FIS. She has worked in fast-paced environments and with web projects since the Internet’s infancy. Molly’s passion and drive have helped companies build and support great brands to achieve their goals. The skills and relationships built through each of her endeavors help her talents thrive in the BG atmosphere.
