With over 20 years' experience in all facets of marketing, advertising and public relations, Diane has served clients in industries such as public health, healthcare, government, traffic safety, public transportation and tourism/hospitality.
As a multiple Gold "ADDY" winner for excellence in advertising and communication, Diane excels in developing targeted strategies to reach Hispanics and other diverse populations, creating strategic marketing programs with cut-through brand positioning.
Prior to helping form Brunet-García, Diane held management positions for both advertising agencies and corporations and served as an independent communications consultant. Former clients include Coca-Cola, The Weather Channel, The Network of City Business Journals, Sprint, Time Warner Cable, Dave & Buster's, The Golf Channel and Walt Disney World Resorts.
Jorge Brunet-García
President/CEO, Partner
A native of Havana, Cuba, Jorge immigrated with his family to the United States in 1960. He has created forward-thinking print and broadcast campaigns in multiple languages for over 30 years.
Jorge has a broad understanding of the Latino culture, along with a strategic mind, an eye for impeccable, culturally relevant design, and the conceptual spark for the precise delivery method of the client's message. This has enabled him to guide art directors, copywriters and graphic designers—in agencies throughout the Southeast—to develop national, award-winning campaigns.
A member of the New York Art Director's Club, the American Advertising Federation and the Graphic Artist Guild, Jorge was a founding member of the Creative Club of Atlanta and the Creative Club of Tampa Bay.
Tim Kinney
Vice President
With over 18 years' progressive experience, Tim brings an extraordinary depth of expertise to Brunet-García in leading change, strategic planning, marketing and business development. Tim is a long-established expert in diverse, complex, highly-regulated global industries as well as turnaround initiatives, multimillion-dollar business development and brand management.
Prior to joining Brunet-García, Tim managed marketing and communication for Alcoa Howmet Castings, a $1.2 billion aerospace and defense component supplier. Among his many achievements, Tim helped a $275-million manufacturing client generate double-digit top- and bottom-line growth in two years using a proprietary strategic planning process as well as spearheaded internal and external communication of a $158-million acquisition for a $1.4-billion client. Tim has also guided clients through five new-venture launches, securing over $4 million in capital.
Jefferson Rall
Creative Director
In his 20 years of advertising experience, Jefferson has proved a record of creative excellence. Jefferson's philosophy is to challenge convention while motivating behavioral change—pushing social, political and ethnic boundaries to inspire and elevate the agency's creative process.
As an award-winning creative director, his advertising experience encompasses industries that range from internationally recognized financial institutions to global cause-related initiatives. Jefferson's client list has included GE, Bank of America, Capital One, Citi Group, Winn-Dixie, Zaxby's, The PGA Tour, Merck, Mayo Clinic, Baptist Medical Center, Halifax Health, The One Campaign, The African American Museum of Art, The United Way and The First Tee.
Kim Vermillion
Marketing Program Manager
Kim is a motivational team leader with 18 years' project management, editing, and creative and technical writing. Kim currently serves as the project manager of the Florida SHOTS marketing and outreach program for the Florida Department of Health Bureau of Immunization. She manages the creation and production of marketing and advertising collateral that support the program (e.g., direct mail, print advertisements, brochures, etc.). She also supervises the regional coordination outreach to healthcare providers, the data upload outreach to medical software providers, and the public relations outreach to state and county medical associations throughout Florida.
Prior to joining Brunet-García, Kim served as the strategic marketing program director of Paul Davis Restoration, Inc., a $300-million national service organization, and worked as an independent communications consultant. She has created and managed marketing communications for numerous nonprofit, service, manufacturing and government clients.
Millie Torres
Accounting/HR
Known as the wallet of Brunet-García, Millie holds a revered position within the agency. Translation? As the keeper of the money, she's the only person whose office merits a door at the agency.
In her role as accounting manager, Millie makes sure that money comes in, the bills get paid, and that we all bring home a paycheck. She also has great taste in music.
A native of Puerto Rico, Millie makes regular trips home, always remembering to bring some warm, Spanish flair to the office on her return. Translation? Alcapurrias!
Jenny Bello
Traffic/Production Manager
Jenny skillfully juggles diverse jobs for multiple clients, including print production and media buying for Florida SHOTS, and production for the Florida Department of Transportation, Vistakon, First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and others. She has also managed accounts for nonprofit clients such as Community Hospice's Halloween Doors and More and the Children's Miracle Network.
Inside the agency, Jenny's energy and enthusiasm fuel her multitasking ability as she manages traffic and day-to-day production issues, leveraging vendor relationships to stretch client budgets.
Aerien Kloske
Senior Art Director
With experience that spans both the client-side and agency-side of advertising, and a background in marketing, Aerien has unique insight into the benefits and challenges of working with an agency. This perspective helps her develop and maintain brands from both a strategic and creative angle to ensure an informed, cohesive design.
During her tenure as art director at Brunet-García, Aerien has helped develop branding, advertising and collateral for a variety of clients, including Jacksonville Country Day School, Florida SHOTS, the Florida Department of Transportation, Vistakon, Shands, the Jacksonville Public Library, Jacksonville Film Festival, Visit Jacksonville, Community Hospice and more.
Kedgar Volta
Art Director
Kedgar is a man of many talents, adept at creative disciplines spanning the gamut from graphic design to broadcast production and editing, animation and photography. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Kedgar immigrated to the United States in 2008. He graduated top of his class at Superior Design Institute (SDI) in Cuba, and his experiences as a first-generation Latino immigrant and Cuban native lend a unique perspective to his creative approach.
Kedgar's body of work includes the concept and production of the multiple-channel campaign for the 280th anniversary of the University of Havana and web design for the Kewelta project, an online calendar of cultural events designed specifically for youth in Cuba. Kedgar has also taught editorial design and typography at the Superior Institute of Design, worked as an editorial designer for the Cuban Institute of Books and Dédalo, a magazine for art critics, and as a designer for Coral Negro commercial Cuban jewelry.
Brandon Ball
Web Developer/Code Guru
As our resident code guru, proficient in multiple programming languages, on a variety of platforms, Brandon works hand-in-hand with the creative team to create functional web applications. He has extensive experience creating and maintaining websites, blogs and web applications, as well as working on several content management and e-commerce systems, and developing custom applications.
An expert in PHP/MySQL, Brandon's proficiency also extends to CSS, AJAX, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, MVC Design Pattern and Object Oriented Programming. Brandon is dedicated to making the difficult seem simple.
Aliera Peterson
PR & Social Media Specialist
Aliera specializes in public relations, social media planning and implementation, event management and account planning. As the online personality of the agency, Aliera is plugged into social media platforms such as Foursquare, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube and whatever happens to be next.
From community outreach and public relations to blogging and social media tactics, she merges traditional communication tools with their edgier social media cousins to develop and drive messages to the desired audiences.
Lindsay Shilling
Account Manager
Lindsay leverages her strategic thinking to create highly successful marketing and communications plans for her clients. An effective, disciplined account executive, Lindsay currently serves as the account manager for Jacksonville Country Day School, Community Hospice's Halloween Doors & More, Lyerly Neurosurgery and the Jacksonville Public Education Fund. She also lends her strategic planning talents to Florida SHOTS as an assistant account manager and oversees the production of their communication materials.
With a strong PR background, Lindsay's ability to weave strategies seamlessly across multiple platforms make her an invaluable resource in the creation of integrated marketing and public relations programs. Lindsay's past public relations experience includes the Jacksonville Public Library's awareness campaign, the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's Achieving the Dream Scholarship and Brunet-García's Block by Block community initiative.
Cristina Parcell
Government Marketing Manager
Growing up as a globetrotter, Cristina is fluent in five languages. Born in Puerto Rico, she grew up in Africa and South America while her parents were members of the Peace Corps. This singular experience gives Cristina a special cultural insight and understanding to her work communicating with diverse audiences.
At Brunet-García, Cristina's responsibilities include relationship management with State and Federal Agencies, developing and maintaining GSA schedules, marketing development and RFP development. She works hand-in-hand with both state and federal procurement officers to implement government contracts.
Prior to her work at Brunet-García, Cristina managed, organized, and facilitated all aspects of national conferences for the Department of Transportation and the Centers for Disease Control.
Joash Brunet
Writer/Producer
With nearly 15 years of experience as a journalist and television producer, Joash has honed his ability to understand and communicate with his audience, bringing insight and empathy to countless stories involving politics, criminal justice and social issues.
Joash capitalizes on his experiences as a journalist and executive producer to provide additional depth and vision to the digital and social media strategies and technologies at Brunet-García. A passionate storyteller, he lends his unique talents in the areas of script-writing, video production, web applications, advertising and training.
Prior to joining Brunet-García, Joash worked as a producer/executive producer for TV stations in the Carolinas, including: ABC-WPDE of Florence, South Carolina, and FOX-WGHP of High Point, North Carolina. He also worked as independent producer for America's Most Wanted. His responsibilities included scriptwriting and oversight of pre- and post-production.
