Brunet-García Awarded 8(a) Certification

The Small Business Administration (SBA) officially awarded Brunet-García Advertising an 8(a) certification valid through January 2021. The multi-cultural advertising and public relations agency based in Jacksonville, Fla., is now eligible for access to SBA training, counseling and marketing opportunities in federal procurement markets. Brunet-García is establishing an office in Washington, D.C., to better serve federal agencies.

“We are thrilled that this certification will enable us to forge new relationships and continue producing quality, measurable results for government, non-profit and private sector customers,” said Jorge Brunet-García, President and CEO of Brunet-García Advertising.

The 8(a) program streamlines the procurement process, allowing for direct sole-source contracting with Brunet-García. A successful record of working with government entities including the Florida Department of Health and Florida Department of Transportation illustrates Brunet-García’s ability to serve the market efficiently and with results.

“Small businesses are the backbone of the local and national economy,” said Annette Paulson, Brunet-García’s designated Business Opportunity Specialist at the North Florida District Office of the SBA. “The 8(a) certification will allow Brunet-García to fortify its strengths and expand its reach as one of those small businesses.”
