Monte Rouge
In Cuba one needs humor to survive. But too much humor can be risky.
This 15-minute independent film satirizes the often dreary realities of Cuban life.
Starting with government corruption over idiotic dogmatic behavior to hypocrisy,
Monte Rouge has it all. Monte Rouge's writer/director Eduardo del Llano declared
himself most surprised by the underground distribution of his film, made with $500
and a friend's camera.

Generación Y
Generation Y is a blog by Yoani Sánchez, inspired by people like her, with first
names that start or contain a "Y," such as Yanisleidi, Yoandri, Yusimí, and Yuniesky.
They were born in the Cuba of the 70s and the 80s, a Cuba marked by "schools in the
countryside," Russian cartoons, illegal exits and never-ending frustration.
